Eight members of violent Paterson heroin-dealing gang ‘So Icy Boys’ sent to prison

Eight alleged members of the violent, drug-dealing Paterson East Side “So Icy Boys” set have been sentenced to prison terms as a result of a multi-agency law enforcement sweep. The heaviest sentence went to Shadeik Stratford, 19, who received 10 years in exchange for a guilty plea to attempted murder in the October 2018 shooting death of a gang member. Stratford must serve 8½ years of that sentence before he is eligible for parole. Behind him is Fabian Frater, 29, of Paterson, who was sentenced to nine years in state prison, of which he must serve more than 7½ years before he is eligible for parole.…

‘Operation Icebox’: 19 charged in heroin trafficking in Paterson East Side gang

Innocent children and gang members have been killed by gunfire fired indiscriminately in anger by the “So Icy Boys,” a violent Bloods group that has controlled heroin trafficking on Paterson’s east side for years.
