A Week in the War on Women: Monday 19th August

THE TELEGRAPH: 160 children, some even younger than ten, were referred to GIDS by school and education staff.

A freedom of information request has revealed that schools and education services were responsible for 160 direct referrals of children to the now defunct Tavistock and Portman gender clinic. These referrals came via teachers, school nurses and counsellors and, according to the data, some were made by student support managers and other staff in ‘inclusion’ roles.

The number of children referred included at least 30 who were under 10 years old.

DAILY RECORD: A convicted sex offender on early release was referred to a gender clinic just ten months before raping and murdering a 67 year old woman.

Jason Graham has a history of violence and has twice been charged with strangling women. In 2013 Graham raped a 50-year-old nurse and was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison. In June 2018 he was granted an early release on a non-parole licence, being monitored as a convicted sex offender.

In May 2021, Graham raped and murdered 67-year-old retired librarian, Esther Brown, in her Glasgow home. During his trial, Livingston Sheriff Court heard that Ms Brown had suffered horrific injuries as a result of Graham punching, kicking and stamping on her during the attack. Judge Lord Armstrong said that Graham had committed the “Gravest of crimes involving the most depraved actions”. He was sentenced to 19 years imprisonment.

This week, The Daily Record reported that less than a year before raping and murdering Esther Brown, clinicians had recommended Graham for a referral to Glasgow’s gender clinic.

A multi-agency significant case review into Esther’s death shows that in July 2020, a social worker contacted the psychological trauma service about managing Graham’s ‘presentation and behaviour’. She had concerns over his weight and ‘possible issues around his sexual identity’. Doctors referred Graham to the community mental health team and suggested a referral to the Sandyford Clinic.

REDUXX: A trans-identified male paedophile who abused his own children has been placed in a women’s prison that already houses a violent and predatory man.

We have reported previously on Michelle (formerly James) Blessant, a trans-identified male from Bloomington, Illinois. In April last year, he was arrested for five counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault. When the Bloomington police force reported this arrest, it failed to mention that Blessant is a man.

Similarly, local news outlet, 25News Now, reported this incident by describing Blessant as a ‘Bloomington woman’ in its headline.

Although Blessent was originally indicted on five counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Victim Under thirteen, an additional three charges were later applied, including one additional count of predatory criminal sexual assault of a victim under thirteen, one count of grooming, and one count of exploitation of a child. Police confirmed these additional charges referred to the same victim.

Officer Brandt Parsley of the Bloomington police department told news station, Cities92.9FM, that Blessant’s arrest was being treated as if he were a woman due to his self-declared gender identity.

During the course of the trial, a second victim under the age of the 13 was named. Both victims – one boy and one girl – are reported to be Blessent’s own children.

In June, Blessent was sentenced to 87 years in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a victim under the age of 13 and one count of grooming. He is serving his sentence in the female estate, having been sent to the Logan Correctional Centre, a women’s facility in Lincoln.

Blessent is not the only trans-identified male to be accommodated at Logan. The facility also houses a violent man formerly known as Andre Patterson who now calls himself Janiah Monroe.

Monroe has been incarcerated for almost 20 years. Department of Corrections records show he is serving time for 11 felonies, including second degree murder, attempted murder, aggravated battery, aggravated battery involving a government employee, three counts of aggravated battery involving a peace officer, two counts of aggravated attempted arson, damage to government property and bringing contraband into a penal institution. In 2006, he strangled his own cellmate in the Cook County jail.

Despite this history of extreme violence, when Monroe began claiming a trans identity, he obtained a transfer to Logan Correctional Centre in 2019. Almost immediately, he was accused of sexually assaulting the female inmates there.

Several different women at Logan have accused Monroe of sexually abusing them. One woman alleges that Monroe raped her after he was placed in her cell. She says that she was coerced into withdrawing her complaint against Monroe by prison staff, resulting in her facing disciplinary action and accusations of ‘transphobia’.

Following numerous allegations of sexual violence and of assaulting prison staff, the Illinois Department of Correction (IDOC) attempted to transfer Monroe back to the male estate. However, this move was blocked by the intervention of the Illinois Governor, JB Pritzker, who is a keen supporter of trans activism. He is also the brother of trans-identified male billionaire, Jennifer Pritzker, a long-time architect of gender ideology who has put millions of dollars behind its promotion.

So Janiah Monroe, a convicted murderer, remains housed in the women’s prison at which he has been accused of sexually assaulting the female inmates. And now he is joined there by recidivist paedophile, Michelle Blessent. God help the poor women of Logan Correctional Centre.

THE INDEPENDENT: A trans-identified teenage boy has been allowed to play on a girls’ soccer team ahead of a legal challenge to legislation which protects female sport.

15 year old Parker Tirrell and 14 year old Iris Turmelle are trans-identified boys from the New England state of New Hampshire. Last week their respective families filed a law suit to challenge the state’s Fairness in Women’s Sports Act which came into effect last month. This legislation requires schools to designate sport by sex and prohibits males from participating on female teams and in female competitions.

As the legal case proceeds, US District Court Chief Judge, Landya McCafferty, granted an emergency order allowing Parker Tirrell to continue playing on his high school girls’ soccer team.

It is claimed by his family’s lawyers that Tirrell does not have any physical advantage over female athletes as he has been taking puberty blockers to halt his natural development. The judge accepted this claim and questioned how the law, as applied to Tirrell, would protect girls from unfair competition. She also ruled that Tirrell would ‘suffer irreparable harm’ if prevented from participating in girls’ soccer.

But what of the girl who Tirrell has robbed of a place on that school team? And the girls coerced into pretending or groomed into believing that Tirrell is somehow not male? And the girls forced to share a locker room with an adolescent boy? It seems that the ‘irreparable harm’ caused to them is of no consequence.

THE DAILY MAIL: A female crew member is taking legal action against a rock band and its tour manager, alleging she was intimidated and sexually harassed by an ‘aggressive and muscular’ trans-identified male roadie.

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra is a progressive rock band founded in the USA in 1996. It is currently the subject of a legal action brought by a female crew member.

Jessica Featherstone is a 38-year-old lighting rigger from Texas who was employed on the Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s recent tour. She was one of only three women employed on the tour. She has filed complaints against the band and the tour’s management with the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), alleging employment discrimination over the conditions she had to endure while on the road.

One of Jessica’s crew-mates was a trans-identified male from California who had only recently begun ‘identifying as a woman’ after the discovery of his wife’s infidelity. Jessica says that this crew-member is very tall, ‘incredibly muscular and strong’, biologically intact and ‘appears male’.

The crew-member was asked to shower before the women on the tour used the bathroom. However, Jessica’s complaint alleges that he not only exposed himself – “Still showering, fully naked” long after he should have left the room – but that he also sexually harassed her and the another female employees, asking them to “Get naked and have girls’ shower time” with him.

Jessica complained about this sexual harassment to the tour’s managers, Production Resource Group (PRG). Although she says they mocked her for requiring ‘safe showers’, a second bathroom was provided for the female crew members. This appears to have angered the trans-identified roadie who, Jessica says, retaliated against her, behaving in an aggressive and threatening way and leaving his dirty underwear beside her bed on the tour bus. She says that “It felt like some territorial act intended to further intimidate me and make me feel uncomfortable”.

Instead of addressing her concerns, Jessica claims that PRG blacklisted her from working with them again on future tours and that she was kicked off an upcoming event. She has now filed complaints with the Texas Workforce Commission against the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, PRG and its shell company, Showpay, over their alleged lack of action regarding a potential hostile work environment.

REDUXX: A Spanish police officer accused of trying to murder his wife changed his legal sex in secret months prior to the attack.

In February 2023, the Spanish government passed ‘La Ley Trans’ (the trans law), legislation which allows anyone aged sixteen and over to legally change their sex with a simple bit of paperwork. Since this law was passed, well over 5,000 people have requested a change of legal registered sex in Spain – a four-fold increase from the 2022 figures – and 61.49% of those applicants are men.

Just as Spanish feminists prophesied, ‘la ley trans’ is now being used by predators, chancers and grifters for their own nefarious purposes. Earlier this year, El Español reported on the dozens of men in just one small area alone who are pretending a trans identity in order to exploit the opportunities and living conditions open to women in their workplace. We have reported previously on a far more sinister story; a Spanish paedophile who abused and impregnated a young girl was accommodated in a female prison after he began ‘identifying as a woman’.

There is a now a very compelling motive for Spanish men who commit violence against women to exploit ‘la ley trans’ and, without needing to make any alteration to their body or appearance, change their legal sex marker to female. Under Spanish law, ‘Gender-based violence’ is a specific charge, a measure adopted in an effort to tackle the country’s shocking femicide and domestic violence statistics. Only men who have assaulted or murdered women can be charged with ‘gender-based violence’ and may face harsher penalties. Spain’s self-ID policy, however, now gives them the perfect get out of jail free card. For example, a victim of domestic violence was left without protection because her former partner changed his legal sex so she could no longer file a complaint of ‘gender based violence’ against him.

Only a few weeks ago, Reduxx reported on a Redondela man accused of abusing his wife who changed his legal sex. When police officers arrived to arrest the man, he boasted that he was ‘now a woman’ and showed them his identity documents.

And now it seems that yet another Spanish male accused of violence against women has used the ‘la ley trans’ as his get out of jail free card.

A police officer in the Basque Country was arrested last week for the attempted murder of his wife. It is alleged that the man threatened to harm the youngest of his two daughters before attacking his wife with a kitchen knife. She managed to escape him and fled from the house, taking her baby daughter with her, but not before the man has taken their oldest daughter hostage. The woman ran to the nearby Martutene prison and told the officers stationed there what had happened. Immediately, local police officers attended the house where the man had barricaded himself in with his eldest daughter. The officers managed to gain access to the house and arrested the man on charges of attempted murder.

El Correo reported that, when the man was apprehended, he requested to be treated in accordance with the protocols for the arrest of a woman. It was then revealed that he had changed his legal sex to ‘female’ in November last year. Seemingly, none of his family or friends were aware of this alteration and he had not altered his name or appearance in any way. Nevertheless, his sex is now is recorded as a ‘female’ in the Civil Registry.

According to articles in Naiz and El Correo, it is suspected that the man has been abusing his wife on a long-term basis and changed his legal sex in secret as a means of protecting himself from a potential ‘gender based violence’ charge. The Prosecutor’s Office is currently investigating the case.

There was yet more heart-breaking news for the women of Afghanistan this week.

Already robbed of their liberty, rights and humanity since the Taliban regained power in 2021, the women of Afghanistan are now subject to a new draconian decree. Rules approved by the country’s ‘supreme leader’, Hibatullah Akhundzada, mean that women are now banned from speaking in public and must keep their faces completely covered. No face, no voice. It is truly inhumane.

And do you know how Amnesty International frames the unbearable barbarism suffered by Afghan women?

In an online article called Women’s Rights in Afghanistan, Amnesty International has the gall to claim that the oppression Afghan women suffer is due to their ‘identifying as a girl’. Is Amnesty suggesting there is a way for Afghan women to ‘identify’ out of their living nightmare?

As if this ghastly text isn’t offensive enough, an archived version of the document shows that the original read “For the crime of being born a girl”. (Huge thanks to Gill @thespiralquirk for this link.)

It was altered deliberately. Afghan women are brutalised purely because of their sex. But Amnesty International has chosen to pretend otherwise in order to pander to gender zealots. Shame on them.

Australia sheroe, Sall Grover, has lost the Tickle v Giggle legal suit.

We have written previously about Roxanne ‘Roxy’ (formerly Jason) Tickle, a trans-identified male who waged war on a woman and her business for three years.

In 2020, Sall Grover founded a female-only social site called Giggle. It was an ‘online refuge’ where women could safely meet other women just to talk or to find female housemates, travelling companions, car shares and romantic partners. Tens of thousands of women in 88 different countries signed up. For obvious reasons, the site had to ensure that males could not try to join. Consequently, to ensure that it remained female-only, the app used bio-metric gender verification software as well as screening by eye to weed out the males who tried to invade it.

Roxanne Tickle is a trans -identified male who also uses the name ‘Roxy’. He writes a blog called The Roxy Epoch and operates a Twitter account of the same name. He tried to join the Giggle app in September 2021 but was subsequently removed from the site. His tweets at the time make clear that, despite knowing the site was strictly women-only, he signed up in a deliberate attempt to evade the restrictions and barge into a female space where he knew his presence was not welcome.

Speaking on a podcast two years ago, Sall Grover described how, after he was removed from the Giggle app, Tickle found her private mobile phone number and texted her frequently, demanding that she speak with him. When she did not respond, he tried calling her on numerous occasions. She ignored him.

In January 2022, Tickle reported both Sall Grover and the Giggle app to the Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC), accusing them of ‘gender identity discrimination’. Grover was told that, to rectify the situation, trans-identified males must be allowed to join Giggle and that women using the app must be ‘moderated’ (ie censored) when discussing gender issues. Furthermore, she and her company must submit to ‘education’ on gender identity. Of course, she refused those terms.

In June 2022, when Sall Grover was heavily pregnant with her daughter, she was informed that Tickle had escalated his complaint to the federal court. That complaint, however, was ‘discontinued’ a month later.

In 2013, Julia Gillard’s administration changed Australia’s Sex Discrimination Act 1984, replacing ‘sex’ with ‘gender identity’ and removing the definitions of ‘man’ and ‘woman’ from the legislation. These changes made it illegal to discriminate against someone based on their ‘gender’ rather than their sex. This has proved to be a gift to men like Tickle who demand access to female spaces.

Yet again, Tickle seemed determined that women should not be allowed even one tiny corner of the internet just for themselves and he took legal action against Giggle. On 22nd December 2022, Tickle filed a lawsuit in federal court, alleging unlawful ‘gender identity’ discrimination under the Sex Discrimination Act.

Roxanne (formerly Jason) Tickle

Unsurprisingly, Tickle has form re the trampling of women’s boundaries. In October 2020 he was in the news for joining a women’s hockey team and he has actively campaigned for the forced inclusion of trans-identified males in women’s sports.

He recently commented on social media that he plays on a hockey team which includes a 15-year-old girl.

And he’s also posted photographs of himself in the locker room. The women’s locker room, presumably.

This week, after a three-day hearing, Australia’s federal court has found that Tickle had not been directly discriminated against because of his ‘gender identity’. However, it found that he had suffered ‘indirect discrimination’ as he was excluded from Giggle for not looking ‘sufficiently female’ which, the court ruled, is unlawful under the Sex Discrimination Act.

Sall Grover’s legal team argued that the Tickle app was intended for women only and that Tickle was excluded on the grounds of his sex. Because he is male. The judge, Robert Bromwich, discounted this argument, stating that case law has consistently found sex is “Changeable and not necessarily binary”. (That’s right, an Australian federal court justice actually said out loud and in all seriousness that it is possible to change sex because the law says so.)

Tickle had sought damages and aggravated damages amounting to $200,000. However, he has been awarded $10,000 (approximately £5,100) plus costs.

This judgement is a disaster for the women of Australia. They can no longer meet, speak or organise free from a male presence and they are no longer allowed any spaces just for themselves that males cannot invade. The law that was supposed to protect women is now being used against them.

But whatever the judge decided this week, Roxy (formerly Jason) Tickle is not and never will be a woman.

As Sall Grover points out, The anger that a lot of these males have of not being allowed to be on a female app proves the need for it and why we don’t want them there.” Quite. Some men just can’t stand it when women tell them ‘No’.

See you next week.
