Child hospitalised after being hit by car in Tallaght

A child was taken to hospital in Tallaght on Sunday evening after being hit by a car.

The incident took place around 10:50 p.m. on Belgardplein on Sunday, August 25.

The child was taken to hospital for treatment. According to police, his injuries are not life-threatening.

The scene has now been investigated and the road has been reopened to traffic. In a statement, the Gardaí said anyone with information should contact them.
