Bock Komma Hell – Munich brewing mafia

The titles of many craft beers are fantastical constructions, clever puns, daredevil tongue twisters, magical fairy tales or cheeky provocations. Some reveal details about the beer behind them, others leave us completely in the dark. We are fans of mysterious, funny, exotic, mystical or clever names, but we also appreciate the effortless simplicity that some brewers choose.

The Munich Brew Mafia has a wide repertoire of different names for their creations, but for their latest work they let beer just be beer and named the brew after what it actually is. Their bock Komma Hell is, as you can easily guess, a light bock. No more and no less. The beer is flavored with the fine hops Bru-1, Mosaic and Hallertauer Tradition and brings a pleasant 6.6% to the table. The full-bodied brew scores with a wonderful mildness, a delicate bitterness and sparkling charm. The taste consists of juicy citrus notes, creamy blossom honey and freshly baked biscuit base and delivers a tasty composition with fruity, malty and hoppy hints.

If you fancy a down-to-earth bock beer with an honest character and an unpretentious attitude, then Bock Komma Hell is the right choice.
