Trainer-coordinator for the implementation of the application “Can’t wait to learn” чекаю”) – Ukraine

Overview

We are looking for a skilled teacher to implement the application in the educational system of Ukraine.

“Can’t wait to learn” was created to support children in war. In Ukraine, the application covers the program of 1-4 classes and fully complies with the requirements of the new Ukrainian school reform. Supported by the MoES, the application has 100,000 users among children and teachers.

For a new phase of the project we are looking for a person with skills in providing quality training and managing the implementation process.

Responsibilities

  • maintain an operational plan for the application implementation process;
  • develop and implement teacher trainings to support the implementation process and reach Ukrainian children;
  • work on accounting and reporting;
  • develop together with the team the events calendar and fill it with useful and interesting events for the beneficiaries of the application, involve professional experts to present the features of the application and ensure regular training activities on the use of the application during the educational process;
  • maintaining cooperation with government bodies (Ministry of Education and Science, local authorities, etc.) to form a network of project ambassadors in the regions and abroad;
  • organize regular focus groups for teachers, children and parents to get ideas and suggestions for improving the application;
  • hold regular meetings with partners, contractors and the project team, providing status updates and reports;
  • Ensure the distribution of the manual for the “Can’t Wait to Learn” application among teachers.

Qualifications and skills

  • diploma in education or equivalent work experience;
  • demonstrable experience as a teacher (teacher, methodologist, trainer, etc.) — experience in primary education is an advantage;
  • ability to create educational materials for adults. understanding of the basic principles of adult education;
  • strong organizational skills;
  • computer skills (Google docs, SharePoint);
  • strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail, with a proactive and collaborative approach;
  • excellent communication skills.

Our offer

  • Local contract with salary and benefits based on the salary scale in the country, local terms and conditions apply. Initially the contract will be via a consultancy agreement with a daily rate of approximately 97 EUR.
  • The position is based on full-time working hours (40 hours per week).
