Media Misleads Public Perception of Film Industry: Suresh Gopi

He was responding to reporters’ questions about the recent allegations of sexual harassment and assault against several directors and actors, including CPI(M) MP M Mukesh.

“This is all food for you, I understand that. You can use it to make money. (That is) no problem. But these issues are before the court, and it has the intelligence and logic to decide on this. You (media) are not only making people fight with each other for your own gain, but you are also misleading the public perception.

The complaints are currently in the form of accusations.

“What are you telling people? Are you the court? You are not. The court will decide. Let the court decide,” Gopi said.

His reaction came a day after the Yuva Morcha organised a march to Mukesh’s residence in Kollam.
