Woman accused of sexual exploitation of minor

BURKE COUNTY, NC – The Burke County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 29-year-old woman on suspicion of distributing child pornography, a news release said.

The press release states that on August 13, the Sheriff’s Office conducted an operation into allegations of distribution of child pornography.

A search warrant was executed on Ridge Court in Morganton, leading to the arrest of Starla Stamey, who was charged with five counts of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
