Kagurabachi, Girl meets Rock! Wins top honors at the next 2024 Manga Awards

One is a bloody revenge thriller published in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine and the other is a musical slice-of-life published online on Shonen Jump+, but they now share one important trait: they are both recipients of top honors at the 2024 Next Manga Awards! After narrowing down 8,212 entries to 100 nominees for fans to vote on earlier this year, the ninth edition of the joint venture between monthly magazine Da Vinci and digital content site Niconico today announced Takeru Hokazono’s Kagurabachi and Kuwahali and Tetsuo Ideuchi’s Girl meets Rock! as the winners of the Print Manga and Web Manga categories, respectively, from 522,257 total votes.
