Evidence emerges of Indian officer’s involvement in drug trafficking, fake encounters – Pakistan

There are strong indications that an Indian officer was involved in drug trafficking and staged confrontations.

Sources say that between 2017 and 2021, several cases have come to light in which Indian army officers have been arrested on suspicion of drug smuggling.

It is alleged that Indian military personnel are colluding with local drug cartels and using military assets to smuggle narcotics across the Line of Control (LoC).

Sources claim that such involvement undermines the reputation of the military. While India’s legal system includes court-martial procedures, concerns remain about transparency and accountability due to corruption and impunity.
