5th ASEAN Plus Republic of Korea Ministerial Meeting on Consultations on Transnational Crime takes place in Vientiane, Laos

ASEAN Secretary-General Dr. Kao Kim Hourn today joined ministers responsible for combating transnational crime from ASEAN and the ROK in the 5^and ASEAN Plus the Republic of Korea (ROK) Ministerial Meeting on Transnational Crime (5^and AMMTC + ROK) Consultation held in Vientiane, Lao PDR. East Timor attended as an observer. The consultation exchanged views on common challenges in the field of transnational crime and reaffirmed the commitment to explore practical cooperation to promote the implementation of the SOMTC-ROK Work Plan for Cooperation in Preventing and Combating Transnational Crime (2019-2025).
