Haiti, Kenya launch joint operation to drive out gangs from Port-au-Prince (Video)

Haitian troops have worked with police sent from Kenya to clear criminal gangs from one of the toughest neighborhoods in Haiti’s capital. The operation was announced Wednesday by Haiti’s Prime Minister Garry Conille at a Port-au-Prince hospital, where three Haitian police officers were recovering from wounds suffered in a shooting in the impoverished, gang-controlled Bel Air neighborhood.
