What you will do:

CACI is seeking a Cyber ​​Security professional with experience in meeting client requirements for system security posture assessment, executing authorization processes and continuous monitoring to work as part of a team supporting CACI products. The successful candidate will collaborate with CACI team members to assess information security controls on new and existing systems, work with system owners to resolve/mitigate information security findings, and help maintain the security posture of systems/networks.

Perform tasks under the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to obtain an Authorization to Operate (ATO) for CACI systems/networks.

More about this role:

  • Collaborate with system integrators and administrators to harden information systems to the required acceptable level
  • Provides full support for Assessment and Authorization (A&A) and technical security guidelines in all phases of the system authorization process and/or the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Perform a security assessment of information security plans for networks and information systems
  • Conduct research to identify security issues and provide advice on how to mitigate risks to information systems.
  • Ensure corrective actions in a coherent information security strategy
  • Review and analyze system/network architecture diagrams
  • Transferring knowledge and safety-oriented, comprehensive solutions for technically complex systems and challenges

You bring the following qualifications:

Education and consent:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and/or an information systems related discipline desired (experience will be considered in lieu of degree) and 3 or more years of experience
  • Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance to begin

Experience:

  • Strong background in information technology processes and/or systems management
  • 3+ years of recent experience generating and implementing System Security Authorization/ICD 503 packages for DoD and/or IC customers
  • 3+ years of recent experience in establishing security processes, practices and principles for TOP SECRET communications network systems
  • 3+ years of recent experience with NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253 and FISMA requirements

Required skills:

  • RMF Work knowledge
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux
  • Understanding Network Concepts
  • 8570.01/8140.03 Complies with: Security+ or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team
  • US citizenship is required

These qualifications would be nice to have:

  • Ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in technical and security related subjects
  • Experience with XACTA and/or eMASS
  • Use of network security vulnerability assessment tools including ACAS – NESSUS, SCAP and HBSS
  • Knowledge of DoD/IC Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) and Configuration Management processes
  • Desired Certifications: Certified Governance Risk Compliance (CGRC), Linux OS Certifications

The suggested salary range for this position is:
