As a Network and Intrusion Detection Analyst, you’ll use your specialized technical experience to support cyberspace operations and intelligence gathering to enable mission owners’ success.

As an analyst on our team, you will provide expert analytical support as you work with mission owners to address complex and challenging problems in computer network analysis, network exploitation, digital network intelligence, data flow, access engineering, and target network analysis. Your duties will require you to gain an understanding of ports, protocols, network devices, and common exploitation frameworks. This provides you with the opportunity to grow your expertise, develop new skills and expertise, utilize and share your methodologies and tool experience with other analysts, and most importantly, be part of a team conducting offensive cyberspace operations that are critical to national security.

You have:

  • Experience with routing and network infrastructure

  • Experience with persona end-to-end exploitation

  • Ability to leverage processes and tools for signal intelligence discovery analysis

  • Ability to assess networks and identify key network topology

  • TS/SCI approval with a lie detector

  • Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of experience in network operations or signal intelligence analysis in lieu of a degree

It would be nice if you have the following:

  • Experience with dataflow and signal intelligence architecture

  • Experience with programming languages ​​for scripting and automation, including Python or C++

  • Experience with penetration testing tools

  • Knowledge of encryption, ports, protocols and general network configurations

  • Network+, Security+, CEH, CCNA or SANS certification

Clearance:

Selected candidates will be subject to a security screening and may be required to meet eligibility requirements for access to confidential information. A TS/SCI statement with lie detector test is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The expected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 – $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total employee compensation package.
