Swedish House Mafia “Finally” Releases Long-Awaited Alicia Keys Collab

After first announcing their collaboration with Alicia Keys almost two years ago, Swedish House Mafia have officially released “Finally” for the world to hear.

Swedish House Mafia returned to the forefront of the scene a few years ago, and it’s been quite a ride for fans of the beloved trio. Their Paradise Again album, filled with tracks that defined the trio’s new sonic direction, was met with mixed reviews. But since that release and the worldwide tour that accompanied it, Swedish House Mafia have found their footing again with some stunning tracks. Now, they’ve released their latest anticipated single, “Finally,” featuring iconic singer-songwriter Alicia keys.

“Finally” was first heard in its earliest form during the Paradise again album tour in 2022, but like other recent Swedish House Mafia releases, it was put on hold while they continued to perfect the song in the studio. A new version began surfacing earlier this year when the trio took to the stage and was prominently featured during their sets at Morningland And Ushuaïa Ibiza.

Alicia Keys’ soulful vocals take center stage on “Finally” from the start as Swedish House Mafia begins to add soft piano notes that build in power as the seconds tick by. The lyrics hark back to an era of classic house, but are juxtaposed with a modern beat, complete with an energetic drop that’s sure to get your feet moving.

This is another larger than life number from Swedish House Mafia. It follows the always cinematic “Ray of the sun“in 2023 and”Lionesswho arrived earlier this year and saw them collaborate with Niki and the pigeonwhich gave fans hope that a new album would be coming.
