Lunchbox Mafia helps create fun school meals

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) —You could say Jenny Paliotti is a pro when it comes to packing school lunches for her daughter.

Due to her busy schedule, Paliotti had to quickly and creatively prepare a packed lunch that her daughter would actually eat.

She shares all her ideas with mothers and fathers online, on her Instagram account.

“I started sharing videos on Instagram and discovered a large group of followers who enjoyed packing a lunch,” Paliotti said.

Not only are these lunches packaged in a fun way for the kids, but they’re also incredibly easy to make. Paliotti also shared ideas that will come in handy if your menu ideas are in a rut!

“Everyone eats with their eyes, but kids especially,” Paliotti said. “On Sundays, when I make breakfast, I’ll make some burritos and breakfast sandwiches and set them aside.

For an easy meal or even something to keep in the fridge, homemade lunchables are quick, easy, and delicious. Just cut everything up into bite-sized pieces.

Paliotti also suggested purchasing a lunch box with compartments for kids who don’t want their food touched. These can be found on Amazon, along with themed toothpicks and mini cookie cutters to decorate the food and make it more appealing to eat.

“When they message me and say, ‘Hey, this works,’ or ‘Look at the clean, empty lunchbox,’ it’s great to hear that it helps,” Paliotti said.

Packing her daughter’s lunch has become something of a love language, and she’s happy to hear that other parents agree.
