Shocking video shows alleged Venezuelan gang storming Aurora, Colorado apartment with high-powered rifles and handguns

The Hague: A disturbing video surfaced on Wednesday showing a heavily armed gang terrorizing an apartment in Aurora, Colorado.

The footage shows a man in a hoodie, wielding a high-powered rifle, banging on a door, while several others with guns follow him and take over apartment number 301. The men can be seen knocking on the door and entering the apartment.

The video, originally posted by a Fox 31 Denver reporter, showed the terrifying scene of gunmen taking over an apartment. The mob can also be seen inside the apartment, though it is currently unclear if anyone was injured in the incident.

Aurora City Councilmember Danielle Jurinsky wrote in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter): “A GANG HAS TAKEN OVER MULTIPLE apartment complexes in Aurora!”

After the incident was widely shared on social media, City Councilmember Danielle Jurinsky told the New York Post that she “refuses to play the political game around the migrant crisis.”

The video, which was posted on X, also noted that the complex was being closed due to “code violations,” but local reports suggest this could be a symptom of a larger problem.

The incident comes after Denver received more than 40,000 migrants since December 2022, making it the U.S. metropolitan area with the highest number of immigrants per capita.

Shortly after the incident came to light, Aurora Police released a statement about X stating that they “accept that reports of TdA impact in Aurora have been disconnected.”

In its statement, Aurora police also said they have formed a special task force in partnership with local, state and federal agencies to combat gang-related criminal activity. APD confirmed that the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is involved and providing additional resources to address the problem.
