Muslim man kidnapped, forcibly converted and married to 12-year-old girl

A Muslim in Pakistan kidnapped and forcibly converted and married a 12-year-old Christian girl, while police delayed efforts to rescue her, reports Morning Star NewS.

Parveen Shaukat, a Catholic widow and mother of eight, said Muhammad Asad abducted her youngest daughter, Fairy Shaukat, from Kasur district of Punjab province on August 9.

She said: “Fairy had gone to a nearby shop in the afternoon to do some shopping but she didn’t come home. We then filed a complaint with the police but instead of helping us, they delayed the registration of a First Information Report.”

She said a neighbor later told the family that he had seen Asad kidnap Fairy.

The mother explained: “We informed the police about the suspect, but they still haven’t taken any action. This gave Asad enough time to convert the minor child and enter into an Islamic marriage with her.

She said, “On August 13, my sons received Fairy’s Nikahnama (Islamic marriage certificate) through WhatsApp from an unknown number. We were shocked to see the document and urged the police to take action against this underage marriage. When the police finally raided the accused’s house, he was not there. It has been almost 20 days now that I have not seen my child and we have no information about her safety.”

The mother said: “Fairy is only 12 years old. He has targeted my child for sexual exploitation and my heart sinks every time I think about how she is being treated in captivity.”

The family contacted Christian lawyer Sumera Shafique for legal aid who filed a petition in the Lahore High Court for the child’s recovery. The lawyer said, “It is very unfortunate that the police is delaying action in cases involving minor girls from minority groups, allowing the perpetrators to scar these children for life.”

Isaiah 59:7 says, “Their feet have lain low in sin… They pursue wicked plans, and violence is their ways.”

Please pray that 12-year-old Fairy Shaukat will be found and returned to her family soon. And pray that her Muslim abductor, Muhammad Asad, will be brought to justice.

Pakistan is the 7^and most dangerous country in the world where you can be a Christian.

Trump spokeswoman: ‘Kamala is not a candidate for change’

Reagan film explores his Christian faith

And finally, tonight marks the premiere of a new film on the big screen, which is simply called “Reagan“starring a Christian actor Dennis Quaid when the 40^and President of the United States.

QUAID: “A retired governor can’t do anything against the Soviets, but a president can do something now.”

Dennis Quaid brings to life a story that transcends the boundaries of a traditional biopic, offering an in-depth exploration of the lasting impact of one man’s strength to overcome all obstacles, buoyed by the love of a woman who supported him on his journey.

QUAID: “What do you want me to do?”

MILLER: “I want you to fight.”

It is notable that Reagan directly took on the president of the Soviet Union Mikhail Gorbachev.

QUAID: “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!”

The film follows Reagan’s life from his childhood to his departure from the public eye after his diagnosis of Alzheimer’s. And he doesn’t shy away from his Christian faith and how God used the singer Pat Boone in Reagan’s spiritual journey, The Christian Post reports.

REAGAN: “By dying for us, Jesus showed how far our love must go—all the way. For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

The president offered an illuminating perspective on God.

REAGAN: “We have to be careful about claiming that God is on our side. I think the real question we have to answer is, ‘Are we on His side?’”
