Are you the person we are looking for?

We are looking for an experienced MacOS Developer with the ability to interact in C# & .NET to design, implement, test and optimize with a high degree of autonomy and an emphasis on tangible results. You will join our endpoint security engineering team and work on a scalable endpoint protection and monitoring system that delivers actionable results to help our customers keep their networks safe and secure. You will also explore new technologies to improve existing systems and design new ones, write highly scalable code, collect data from various services, sensors, drivers and APIs, and work with cloud-based APIs and services.

What we would like you to do for us:

Develop features and improvements for Cylance security products in a safe, well-tested manner
Design and implement coherent cross-platform solutions
Collaborate with the Product Owner and other stakeholders within the business to maintain high quality standards in a fast-paced, iterative environment
Advocate for improvements in product quality, security, and performance that impact your team and others
Analyze and provide feedback during code reviews to ensure code is correct and meets the team’s quality standards
Lead the definition and improvement of our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for endpoint development. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review
Encourage innovation in the team with a willingness to experiment and tackle problems courageously
Provide mentorship to the engineers on your team to help them grow in their technical responsibilities and remove blocks to their autonomy

What to bring:

Advanced experience level in software development on macOS
Program primarily in C# and Python, with integration of the macOS platform using Objective C and Swift
Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming using C#, .NET and Git
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio, VS Code, Rider or IntelliJ
Extensive professional experience in:
- Multithreaded and asynchronous programming
- Extensible API development
- Application installation and updates in macOS, Windows, and Linux environments
- Commercial software development and application distribution
- Design Patterns and SOLID Object-Oriented Concepts
Knowledge of SW security concepts such as vulnerability, exploitation and mitigation
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely about complex technical, architectural and/or organizational issues and propose thorough iterative solutions
Experience with performance and optimization issues and a proven ability to diagnose and prevent these issues
Requires the ability to work independently with considerable freedom for action and decision-making, while maintaining a focus on achieving optimal results as part of a collaborative development effort
Work comfortably in a highly flexible, intensive iterative software development process
