Charleston man arrested for sexual exploitation of minor

CHARLESTON, SC (WCIV) — A Charleston man was arrested Thursday after the SC ICAC received a tip about the sexual exploitation of a minor.

The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office arrested William Robert Rattazzi, 73, of Charleston on August 29 after a search warrant was executed at his residence.

According to the affidavit, Rattazzi distributed a sexually explicit image of a young girl via Bing Reverse Image Search.

Rattazzi is charged with second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and was given a $50,000 bond at an Aug. 30 hearing.

He was booked into the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center.
