The Mercury’s Sound Off for Saturday August 31st – The Mercury

As always, the Democrats lied when they released the nation’s recent jobs report. As expected, with the election approaching, Kamala Harris lied to voters when she bragged that she had created nearly 1 million more jobs than were actually created last year. Oh well, at least she’s still a “black” woman married to a white Jewish man. Through the lens of DEI recruitment and low-intellect voters, she’s golden!

Big Mac

As usual, Barack Obama lied about Republicans. Obama said, “Republicans think generosity is for suckers.” The actual data shows something very different. Republicans give far more to charity than Democrats. What Obama should have said is that Democrats want to force you to give your money to the government so the government can spend it.

I encourage everyone to get to know Project 2025 as we approach November 5th. The project, published in 2023, includes a nearly 1,000-page playbook that lays out a conservative agenda for the next president. Project 2025 said the playbook is “the next conservative president’s last chance to save our republic.” Many critics have labeled Project 2025 “authoritarian,” and The Associated Press called it “apocalyptic.” Familiarize yourself and form your own opinion about Project 2025!

Desperately delusional Democrats are grasping at straws to come up with a single reason why Kackala is qualified to be POTUS. Being a prosecutor is no more a POTUS qualification than being a firefighter, a police officer, or a carpenter. We don’t need a prosecutor in the White House. We need a leader. Someone who has successfully led matrix organizations, economies, adversaries, team members, and crises. Harris the Hack has none of the above on her resume.

Madam Madam

You have to ask yourself if Joe Ciresi is working to represent the working voters of the 146th district. Why is he charging $400 to play golf on his outing? It sounds to me like he only cares about the special interests and lobbyists who can afford to pay, because the average working person can’t. Special interest Joe.

The Associated Press fact-checkers, masters of deception and distortion, need to be fact-checked. AP took exception to Trump’s claim that Biden/Harris price increases cost a typical household $28,000. AP cites a Moody’s Analytics study that covers two years, not 3.5+ years. AP is distorting by using rate data ($709/month and $8,500/year) without adding the numbers up. AP needs to be on an apples-to-apples basis. $8,500/year x 3.5 years equals $29,750, which is higher than Trump’s number.

I didn’t watch the DNC, but I’m curious to know who prayed. I’m hoping one of our Democratic friends can answer that question. We desperately need Donald J. Trump to become the 47th President of the United States and “Make America Great Again.”

Can someone explain to me how a man who has a nasty name to half the people he knows gets offended when someone calls him weird. It’s like he never got past grade school. Because he didn’t.

Kamala Harris’ campaign staged a visit to the Primanti Brothers Restaurant in Pittsburgh. They brought in actors to play guests after clearing the restaurant of paying customers. ABC provided television coverage of the staged event. Trump only shows up at diners and fast food restaurants; he doesn’t let actors in. Trump supporters showed up across the street to overshadow the event.

The DNC ratings are in, and they were 22 percent higher than the RNC. Another shocker for draft dodger Trump’s bone spurs. Convicted felon Trump threw a lot of ketchup at Mar-A-Lago.

Whatever you think of Trump — even if you have the most unflattering view of him that any reasonable person could have — he is not part of that agenda. If you vote for that agenda, you are actively participating in evil. You are supporting it. You are helping it gain power. You are doing everything you can to get back at Trump at the expense of our country, which makes you a fool at best.

After watching about five minutes of the Democratic convention, I wonder if there are any adults? Between Harris and Walz, her so-called running mate, neither one seems to have grown up. They are worse than a bunch of teenagers in the fifth grade. I think we need adults to run the country, not a bunch of childish individuals. Laughter and giggling will not run the country.

Before RFK Jr. endorsed Trump, he approached the Harris campaign and offered to endorse her. The Harris campaign wasn’t interested. He told Trump he would endorse him if he could get a position in the Trump administration. Trump agreed, which is a violation of federal law. Here we go again, another criminal case for Trump. Doesn’t he care about the law?

Democratic convention lineup: Joe and Jill Biden. Bill and Hillary Clinton. Barak and Michelle Obama. Bernie Sanders. Chuck Schumer. Nancy Pelosi. Maxine Waters. AOC. Kathy Hochul. Josh Shapiro. Cory Booker. Pete Buttigieg. Tim Walz. Kamala Harris. I couldn’t think of a better group of deplorables if you wanted to remind voters who is responsible for the current disaster Americans are facing. Dems be tripp’n!

Stupid

Trump is back, holding outdoor rallies surrounded by bulletproof glass. Criminal under glass.

Kamala has said that it is racist to build a wall on the southern border to protect our citizens from crime, drugs, and gangs. But wait!!!! Look what the Democrats did in Chicago at their convention — they built a wall to protect themselves from pro-Hamas protesters! Wow! That is not racist! Walls for me, but not for you! What hypocrites! I hope people see their propaganda for what it is!

Point

If you ask Rick Astley for his copy of the movie “Up,” he can’t give it to you because he’ll never give you up. But in doing so, he’s letting you down. And so the Astley Paradox arises.

The “gas” that comes out of the asses of a herd of cows is not nearly as dangerous as the “stuff” that comes out of the mouth of a politician!
