In our team, you will be comfortable investigating targets using the latest network-based analytics tools such as Splunk, Rapid7, Nessus, and Wireshark to solve difficult technical problems and achieve customer missions. You will support government and law enforcement agencies by using advanced analytics tools to gain access and perform actions on a targeted network. In this role, you will be part of a team that will uncover previously unknown and emerging adversary capabilities that impact global missions. You have:

  • 1+ years of experience with cybersecurity principles for Linux or Windows operating systems
  • 1+ years of experience in vulnerability research or threat vulnerability identification
  • 1+ years of experience developing methodologies to deliver best cyber defense capability practices
  • 1+ years of experience with hostile, malicious tactics, techniques and procedures
  • TS/SCI approval with a lie detector
  • HS diploma or GED

It would be nice if you have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
  • Certification Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • CompTIA Security+ certification

Clearance:

Selected candidates will be subject to a security screening and may be required to meet eligibility requirements for access to confidential information. A TS/SCI statement with lie detector test is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The expected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 – $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total employee compensation package.
