Kangana Ranaut reflects on her infamous Koffee With Karan episode; Actress calls filmmaker ‘classist’

It was during his chat show Koffee with Karan that in 2017, Kangana Ranaut had ridiculed Karan Johar for being the ‘flagbearer of nepotism’ and ‘film mafia’. And since then, Kangana has never held back from making fun of him. She told him on the show that if a biopic were to be made on her life, he would be the villain in the story.

However, during a recent interview, Kangana said that circumstances have changed now and her story would need something bigger than a ‘local villain’ like Karan. “Karan Johar is a local villain. If my biopic is made now, there will be a bigger villain. There are bigger villains in my life now,” Kangana said on The Lallantop’s YouTube channel. Kangana, now a politician, recently won the Lok Sabha elections from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.

About the infamous episode of Karan Johar’s show, Kangana was asked how things unfolded after the shoot and the actor said that Karan “knows what he has done.”

“He knows what he has done. He is very conceited, very classist and he was surprised that I gave it back to him. Voh bhi ek waqt tha,” she said. Kangana was present in that episode with Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan to promote their Vishal Bhardwaj’s film Rangoon.

Meanwhile, the actress will soon be seen in Emergency.
