A man in his 30s, suspected of committing a crime of child sexual exploitation, jumped from the eighth floor of an apartment building and died while police were visiting his home.

According to the Gyeonggi Northern Police Agency on 1, a man in his 30s fell on the flowerbed on the first floor of an apartment in Wadong-dong, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do on 31st of last month at around 23:00. A was taken to the hospital by 119 paramedics with cardiac arrest, but he died.

Police immediately launched an investigation for fear of further damage. At the time of the accident, police officers visited A’s home. They rang the doorbell and knocked on the front door to confirm his whereabouts and identity.

When there was no sign of popularity, the police went to the first floor and checked the eighth floor, where A lived, and found A hanging out on the balcony railing of the apartment building.

The police reported this to 119 and A went via the porch to the porch next door. The police, who thought it was dangerous, reported it again to 119, but A eventually jumped to the first floor.
