In July, Boosie accused a prosecutor of racism after he was charged again in a San Diego gun case, a case he hopes to win a pardon for.

Boosie’s case was dismissed, but less than two weeks later he was indicted again for possession of a firearm and ammunition by a felon in interstate commerce.

The Baton Rouge resident was also charged with knowingly possessing a firearm in conjunction with drug abuse.

The indictment shows prosecutors are doubling down on charges against Boosie and seeking to seize “all firearms and ammunition involved in the commission of the crimes.”

The 41-year-old rapper faces up to 10 years in prison if found guilty.

Despite Boosie’s willingness to work with “whoever wins,” he has had issues with Donald Trump in the past.

In 2022, the “Wipe Me Down” rapper criticized Donald Trump for his stance on drug allegations.

During a speech announcing his candidacy for president in 2024, Donald Trump vowed to “wage war on the cartels and stop fentanyl and deadly drugs from killing 200,000 Americans every year.”

Trump added: “We’re going to ask anyone who sells drugs and is caught selling drugs to get the death penalty for their heinous acts.”

Boosie wasn’t too happy with Trump’s campaign promise. “Death penalty for drug dealers WTF!!,” he tweeted. “@potus45 is that you’re going to implement the death penalty for white cops who murder innocent black men?”
