A Pakistani youth has been sentenced to 17 years in prison by a Perth court for sexually harassing women in Australia and forcing them to perform sexual acts.

According to the BBC Urdu report, Muhammad Zainul Abedin Rasheed confessed to 119 charges against 286 people from 20 countries, including the UK, the US, Japan and France. Two-thirds of Zain’s victims were reportedly under the age of 16.

According to the report, a Perth court was told that Zain, 29, lured his victims into a trap that quickly turned into abuse, threatening to send the photos and messages to their families.

The young man was caught performing sex acts with hundreds of girls around the world, posing as a famous YouTuber.

<p>Interpol and US investigators were contacted by Australian authorities, who were then charged after a police raid on the suspect’s home in 2020.</p>
<p>Zain Al Abedin is currently serving a five-year jail sentence for twice sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy in his car in a Perth park.</p>
