Rajnikanth is not aware of the Hema Commission report

Rajinikanth was reacting to the Hema committee report, which raised issues like sexual harassment, lack of basic amenities, gender inequality and wage disparity in the Malayalam film industry. The industry is shocked.

When asked about the report at Chennai airport, Rajinikanth appeared unaware and said, “I don’t know anything about that.”

This is shocking to know, since the entire country is in an uproar about the news surrounding the Hema committee and South Superstar, without them even being aware of it.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal resigned from the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) along with its 17-member executive committee after the release of the report that exposed widespread sexual exploitation.

Mohanlal stressed that the entire Malayalam film industry, and not just AMMA, is responsible for addressing the findings of the report.

Mammootty also spoke out on the report and expressed support for necessary changes to improve the sector.

The Hema Commission’s revelations have led to a huge backlash and calls for action to address exploitation and inequality in the Malayalam film industry.
