Starpoint School Board Investigates Incident Involving Principal

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Starpoint Central School District School Board is investigating an incident involving Principal Dr. Sean Croft over the weekend, they said in a statement Monday.

According to the BOE, the incident occurred on Saturday, but no information was provided about what exactly happened.

“The Starpoint Central School District Board of Education has been made aware of an incident that occurred on August 31, 2024 involving Superintendent of Schools Dr. Sean Croft,” the BOE said in a statement Monday. “We are taking this matter seriously as we gather more information. We will provide an update as soon as we are able to do so.”

WIVB News 4 has reached out to multiple agencies, but the type of incident that occurred is unclear. Students in the district are scheduled to return to school on Tuesday.
