Governor Jared Polis Gaslights Aurora, Colorado Apartment Building Takeover by Tren de Aragua

Gangs of immigrants are turning apartment complexes in Aurora, Colorado, into hellholes, and the Democratic governor is looking the other way.

It’s a nasty consequence of Denver being a suburb of the safe haven city: Venezuelan migrants have spread out from the Mile High City. Gangs are claiming apartment buildings as their turf and terrorizing residents.

A chilling video shows suspected members of Tren de Aragua sneaking through the complex with weapons.

Another photo, from the same complex, shows two men entering a home with a tire iron.

Mayor Mike Coffman confirmed that at least two buildings had been taken over. He called it an “organized criminal effort” and added: “I think we are the victims of failed policy at the southern border.”

City Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky warned: “I worry about everything I know about this gang. And I worry about everything I don’t know.”

But despite mountains of evidence, Gov. Jared Polis (D) adamantly denies this is happening.

On Wednesday, his office called the invasion “a figment of Danielle Jurinsky’s imagination” and said wryly that Polis “really hopes the city council members in charge will stop destroying their own city when they’re supposed to be keeping it safe.”

This is gaslighting of the worst kind.

Polis can keep trying to sell the lie that Aurora officials are “imagining” a gang takeover, but the city’s residents, like Americans in Democratic-run cities across the country, are living with the ugly truth.
