Combating child sexual exploitation on technology platforms

One of Australia’s leading anti-slavery groups is calling on the government to impose tough sanctions on tech companies, as many allow their platforms to be used for the sexual exploitation of children.

Thousands of people have already signed a petition from the International Justice Mission calling on Canberra to “take a tougher stance on technology” and to see companies that ignore their online safety obligations face hefty fines.
