It takes courage to face a bulldozer: Adityanath knocks down Akhilesh Yadav

Adityanath also made a pun on Yadav’s nickname and said, “Now ‘Tipu’ is also trying to become ‘Sultan’.”

He said Yadav’s ambition to return to power in Uttar Pradesh is nothing but a daydream and accused the former chief minister and his uncle Shivpal Yadav of indulging in extortion during his rule.

“There used to be a competition between ‘chacha-bhatija’ to extort money. Territories were divided between them. I can see that at present some man-eating wolves are causing chaos in different districts.

“Before 2017, the situation in the state was more or less the same,” Adityanath said.

Later in the day, Adityanath continued his attack on the Samajwadi Party at a programme in Prayagraj, while attending a job fair at the IFFCO campus in the Phulpur area.

“These people who are making big announcements are the same people who used to thumb their noses at the mafia and rioters. Hey, courage is needed to drive the bulldozer. Will those who thumb their noses at the rioters and mafia drive the bulldozers,” Adityanath said.

“These are the same people who fight in the name of caste and dream of becoming Tipu and Sultan. This was the same Tipu who created an identity crisis of UP by rubbing his nose in the face of the mafia,” he said.

Referring to the murder of BSP MP Raju Pal in Prayagraj, Adityanath alleged that “they” by joining the mafia had created an identity crisis among the people of the state and that Prayagraj and the same mafia had murdered Pal.

“At the time of Raju Pal’s murder, they did not remember the PDA as they were worried about their seat. But we had said that if the mafia dares to raise its head, we will grind it to dust,” he added.

Adityanath also appealed to the public to “not make such a mistake” as it could once again lead to an identity crisis in Uttar Pradesh.

Prayagraj seat in Phulpur is one of the ten seats in the state of Uttar Pradesh where by-elections are held.

This seat fell vacant after BJP MP Praveen Patel became the MP.
