Cyberspace Infrastructure Support Engineer

As a Cyberspace Infrastructure Support Engineer, you will use your specialized technical experience to enable cyberspace operations and intelligence collection to enable mission owners’ success.

As an engineer on our team, you will provide expert cyberinfrastructure and network support as you collaborate with mission owners to address complex and challenging problems in computer network analysis, network exploitation, data flow, access development, and cyberspace capabilities integration. Your duties will require you to gain an understanding of ports, protocols, network devices, operating systems, and common exploitation frameworks. This provides you with the opportunity to grow your expertise, develop new skills and expertise, utilize and share your methodologies and tool experience with other engineers, and most importantly, be part of a team that enables offensive cyberspace operations that are critical to national security.

You have:

  • Experience with network encryption techniques, routing and network infrastructure

  • Experience with CNO or Offensive Cyberspace processes and capabilities

  • Experience with data flow and computer networks

  • Experience with Windows and Linux

  • Ability to collaborate with external teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues

  • TS/SCI approval with a lie detector

  • Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of experience in network operations or signal intelligence analysis in lieu of a degree

It would be nice if you have the following:

  • Experience with scripting and automation programming languages, including Python or Bash scripting

  • Experience with software development

  • Experience with penetration testing tools

  • Knowledge of ports, protocols and general network configurations

  • Knowledge of IT logging best practices

  • Network+, Security+, CEH, CCNA or GPEN certification

Clearance:

Selected candidates will be subject to a security clearance and may be required to meet eligibility requirements for access to confidential information. A TS/SCI clearance with lie detector test is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The expected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 – $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total employee compensation package.
