CPS Trustees Back CEO Pedro Martinez Amid Potential Mayoral Conflict

I don’t know, I’m ignorant about politics and stuff. But when I read this article I can’t help but see a connection to those classic mafia movies. The CTU plays the role of the MOB who forces their people into political roles to get more money.

My question is, since this is clearly the problem, how do voters continue to give the CTU so much power? Or am I wrong here, do voters have no say in the CTU?
