Position overview

Far Ridgeline Engagements LLC, a US company of Qinetiq, is seeking an OSINT Analyst in Elkridge, MD who can perform analysis of specialized and/or technical data, make assessments and recommendations, and prepare documentation related to the associated data and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) analysis, reporting, and other OSINT-derived products
• Analyze the development of OSINT policy and craftsmanship
• Use advanced OSINT and social media collection and analysis techniques to support information requests related to force protection, indications and warnings, counter-threats, counterintelligence, and all-source information integration and assessments
• Collaborate and coordinate across disciplines to produce finished and reliable intelligence products
• Review and provide recommendations on emerging OSINT methodologies and tools
• Provide advice on how to leverage OSINT data and information, how to use specialized OSINT tools and services, and how to advise on the development of OSINT products.
• Support the development of new OSINT targeting and exploitation techniques

Required qualifications

• TS/SCI with CI Poly #qinetiqclearedjob
• BA/BS in related field
• 5 years of experience in OSINT analysis and reporting
• Experience conducting open source research, all-source intelligence analysis, or targeting
• Experience in approaching, researching and operating global and regional social media and digital platforms
• Knowledge of advanced Internet-based research, including Boolean logic, advanced research techniques, search engine and database resources, and Internet resources, including social media, social networking tools, and commercial and industry-based databases

Desired qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in OSINT research, collection management or analysis, or the exploitation of PAI or social media
• Foreign language skills
