Allentown man accused of sexually abusing and raping 2 girls

An Allentown man has been arrested and charged with sexually abusing, raping and trafficking two young girls.

Joshua Mickey Martel, 31, of the 300 block of North Law Street, is charged with multiple felonies, including two counts of rape; sexual assault of minors; human trafficking; treating victims of human trafficking; sexual assault; and corruption of minors, as well as related offenses.

Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin Holihan and Allentown Police Chief Charles Roca announced Martel’s arrest Wednesday afternoon. The case involves two girls under the age of 14, according to the affidavit of probable cause, which includes evidence and witness statements against Martel.
