DECISION on the person who brought women to Turkey and subjected them to sexual exploitation

The hearing on the appeal against the sentence of L. Aliyeva, accused of human trafficking, has been completed at the Ganja Court of Appeal.

Pravda.az reports that the decision was announced during the trial presided over by Judge Javid Huseyn.

According to the ruling, the appeal was dismissed.

It should be noted that he was sentenced by the Baku court to 8 years and 3 months in prison for serious crimes.

According to the indictment, L. Aliyeva promised two Azerbaijani women a well-paid job in the Turkish province of Tokat. To do this, he brought them to Tokata in 2018-2020. There, he tricked them into having sex with men. He was charged under Articles 144-1.2.1, 144-1.2.2 and 144-1.2.4-1 of the Criminal Code (trafficking in persons, when committed against two or more persons).
