Salary range: The appointment level and salary are commensurate with experience. The expected total salary for this position is $156,300-197,000. “Off-scale salaries” and other components of pay, i.e., a salary in excess of the published system-wide salary at the designated grade and step, will be offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions, qualifications, and experience. A reasonable estimated salary range for this position is $156,300-197,000, including the pay grade and off-scale salary components.

Job description

Tenure-track position in Public Economics. Appointment will be at the level of assistant professor. Ph.D. and evidence of excellent research and teaching required. This is a full-time (100% FTE) position with a proposed start date of July 1, 2025.

  • Teaching experience is required for this position and the applicant must have a demonstrable interest in teaching. The department will evaluate the quality of the applicant’s research based on the criteria set out in the job description above, and the likelihood of scholarship contributing to developments in the field.
