Slovenia takes over UN Security Council No answers on Gaza or UN rapes or Jansa after no UNTV

UN GATE, September 3 – Slovenia took over the presidency of the UN Security Council on September 3, 2024, while Inner City Press remains under a UN ban despite its June 19 application.

On August 30, Inner City Press wrote to the Sierra Mission: “This is a timely request to allow Inner City Press to come in and report on, and/or provide the WebEx access code(s) to access, the Slovenian UN Security Council Presidency press conference by your Ambassador Samuel Zbogar on September 3, 2024. I have questions about what you will be doing this month with Gaza and Sudan, DRC and Rwanda, as well as the coups in Gabon and Niger and the conflicts in Ukraine, Ethiopia, Cameroon, Yemen and Libya – and about ongoing cases of sexual abuse and exploitation by UN peacekeepers, and abuses by missions in NYC, many of which Inner City Press was the first to report.

Inner City Press asked in writing about the “role of the now convicted (of corruption) and imprisoned ex-Prime Minister Janez Jansa in Slovenia, who currently holds a seat on the UN Security Council.

Please note that Inner City Press and I participate in WebEx briefings for example from the IMF: March 31, 2022 and since then with a new IMF spokesperson on September 28, 2023:

Slovenia did not even respond to Jansa’s role; it promoted his role earlier in a “press” conference with not even UNTV, so there had to be one. We will not stop.

Inner City Press has reapplied to the UN for access on June 19, 2024, as it gives 100s to cover UNGA week. Inner City Press has a NYC Press Pass and writes about the UN. Of Sierra Leone and its UN mission, nothing.
