Kerala Chief Minister’s Office Functioning Like Mafia: LoP

The Congress has intensified protests in Kerala demanding the resignation of Pinarayi Vijayan following allegations levelled by Nilambur MLA PV Anwar against Chief Minister’s Political Secretary P Sasi and Additional Director General of Police MR Ajith Kumar.

The Congress protest took place in a march towards the Secretariat. Opposition leader VD Satheesan and KPCC president K Sudhakaran also participated in the protest.
Opposition leader VD Satheesan accused the Kerala government of raising doubts over whether it is a government or a mafia gang by making persistent allegations against the government.

“The people’s court is now judging this government. There are constant allegations against the government, which raises doubts about whether it is a government or a mafia gang. The Chief Minister’s office is functioning like a mafia organisation,” Satheesan said.

KPCC president K Sudhakaran has demanded that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan be replaced. “It is essential for Kerala that this Chief Minister is replaced. If the CPM does not take this decision, the people of the state should. Yesterday, my children, who have done nothing wrong, were beaten up. If the Chief Minister does not resign, the people of Kerala will rise up and force him to resign, with the Congress taking the lead,” KPCC president Sudhakaran said.
