Jr NTR’s ‘Devara’ Creates Excitement With Record US Pre-Sales (X)

The pre-sale of Jr NTR’s upcoming pan-Indian action film, Devara: Part 1In international markets, especially North America, it has exceeded expectations. It has made a remarkable $625,000 in advance sales in North America, the fastest ever for an Indian film.

Furthermore, the pre-sale of Devara: Part 1 crossed the $5,00,000 mark for the premiere shows alone. With three weeks left until its release, the number is expected to rise significantly.

All in all, Koratala Siva’s direction is creating a lot of excitement ahead of its September 27 release.

Meanwhile, in a special Ganesh Chaturthi treat for his fans, Jr NTR unveiled a new poster for Devara: Part 1which announced the release date for the much-awaited trailer. The theatrical trailer is scheduled for September 10, with a grand event planned in Mumbai.

The much-awaited film has also gained traction in the Tamil and Hindi markets, thanks to strong musical numbers. And now, the trailer launch is expected to further increase the curiosity among fans and moviegoers. Dharma Productions is releasing the film in North India.

Fans of Jr NTR hope that Devara: Part 1 could break the record currently held by Prabhas-starrer Kalki 2898 AD for the highest grossing premieres among Telugu films.

In addition to the regular cinema release, the JR NTR star will also be shown in IMAX, following the success of the actor’s previous film RRR (2022). Many IMAX shows have already been announced for overseas audiences and bookings are now open.

Devara marks the debut of Bollywood actor Janhvi Kapoor in South India. She plays the romantic lead opposite Jr NTR in the film. The Telugu film is set against the backdrop of India’s forgotten coastal regions and features a significant amount of VFX.

Anirudh Ravichander composed the songs for the film. His songs have already garnered wide appreciation and are dominating the chartbusters.

Fans were recently treated to the third single, “Daavudi“, from the film. Breaking the traditional format of releasing lyrical songs, the makers this time released a full-length video featuring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor’s electrifying dance moves. The “Daavudi” video clip is an instant hit.
