According to the poster, the 90 Day Fiancé star initially claimed that he lost his ability to walk due to a carjacking incident. He said that one of the perpetrators shot him during the confrontation. However, Brian later changed his story and said that the carjacking incident was not random. He then added that he is afraid to tell Ingrid the whole story, which has made many people skeptical about his past. The Reddit user also discovered that Brian participated in a podcast where he shared the true story of why he became a quadriplegic.

“In my neighborhood, there were only gangs, drugs, and social housing,” he explains, adding that being a drug dealer was one of his inspirations in life, along with his work as a boxer and baseball player. He then confessed that his father was part of a “mafia,” which made him think he grew up in a gangster family. Brian admitted to using marijuana when he was 16. He eventually started selling weed. He also became addicted to cocaine and had sex with several women, which led to the demise of his marriage. Fortunately, he found a new path and eventually got a job at a car dealership.
