Australian National Review – Armed Venezuelan gangs steal oil, copper wire and attack workers at Texas oil field

Members of armed Venezuelan gangs are stealing oil, copper wire, diesel fuel and catalyst elements from oil fields in West Texas, a memo to employees shows.

According to the memo obtained by LibsofTikTok, a Texas oil company sent a memo to employees warning them of the safety risks posed by violent migrant gangs.

Members of Venezuelan gangs use vehicles to run workers and witnesses off the road while stealing oil and diesel.

According to the memo:

Industry and law enforcement in West Texas (WTX) are aware of a recent increase in organized criminal activity, including violent crimes, gang activity, and oil field thefts in and around WTX’s operating areas. In particular, regional law enforcement and the FBI have advised that gang members from Cuba and Venezuela are organizing and working together to commit thefts in the Permian Basin. These individuals and groups are armed, violent in nature, and will not hesitate to use violence.

Crimes associated with these groups include theft of oil, diesel fuel, copper wire, and catalytic converter elements. Recent incidents also include two attacks by water haulers attempting to steal oil from WTX oil fields. After being spotted by witnesses who came to watch, the thieves attempted to use their vehicles to run the witnesses off the road. In another incident, a thief who was acting as a spotter following a water hauler who had stolen oil also attempted to run a witness off the road. There have been numerous reports of second vehicles acting as spotters for water haulers committing oil thefts.

An industry colleague released the following footage from a video surveillance camera showing an armed thief scouting an area before stealing diesel.

Earlier this year, it was reported that Venezuelan gangs were terrorizing oil workers in the Permian Basin of West Texas.

However, the Biden-Harris regime is doing nothing to stop them.

Members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua are also taking over apartment complexes in Dallas, Aurora, Colorado and New York and the FBI is doing absolutely nothing to stop them.
