LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WOLO) – Lexington County deputies have arrested a Little Mountain man accused of engaging in sexual activity with teenage girls he allegedly lured to him with promises of vaping devices.

Trevor Grant Oty, 20, is charged with two counts of solicitation of a minor, and one count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, and human trafficking, according to arrest warrants.

According to investigators, the case began when the mother of one of the victims approached them over the summer to report that her daughter had been abused.

“Detectives initiated an investigation, which included forensic interviews with victims, and concluded that Oty would arrange to meet girls and exchange sexual favors in exchange for vaping devices,” said Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon.

Oty was arrested on August 12 and Sheriff Koon said two girls are linked to the charges against him.

“There could be more victims than these two young ladies. This case is still open and our investigation is ongoing. We encourage anyone who has had any contact with Oty, including so-called discounts on vaping devices, electronic cigarettes or other items, to call us as soon as possible,” Koon continued.

Detectives can be contacted at 803-785-8230 and anonymous tips can be shared via the Midlands Crimestoppers app.
