The one-off performance took place last night (September 7) and is a continuation of the tour that the singer – real name Abel Tesfaye – has been on for the past two years with his ‘After Hours Til Dawn Tour’.

During the show, which the singer previously announced would be streamed live exclusively on his YouTube channel so “everyone in the world can be a part of this special evening,” he debuted a number of new songs that he believes are from his upcoming album, ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’.

Among them was a new song with an apt name, reportedly called ‘São Paulo’, on which he was joined by Brazilian artist Anitta.

While the official titles of the newest songs haven’t all been revealed, fans have been using the lyrics to piece them together – with supposed new titles including ‘Dancing in the Flames’ and ‘Run Away’. You can check out fan-shot footage and the setlist below:

Earlier this week, The Weeknd revealed details about his upcoming album in a series of recent social media posts, suggesting that the third chapter of his ongoing albums ‘After Hours’ and ‘Dawn FM’ was on the way.

Another teaser appeared online, reaffirming that new music would be coming soon. On Wednesday, September 4, the musician finally shared a trailer for his new album in a new post, revealing its title.

“Today has felt like an endless spin,” it read. “I keep twisting the truth, immune to the dizziness, numb to the nausea. What lies beneath — screams in silence.
“I look in the mirror and feel both old and new stuck in limbo unable to move. I still haven’t faced myself…” reads another section.

It continued: “The thing that once made me invincible has failed me on the world stage. A new trauma has surfaced. When today is over, I will discover who I am. SOON TOMORROW.”
