Man stabbed multiple times after argument last night – Salisbury Post

SALISBURY — A 29-year-old man was stabbed multiple times in the back after an altercation just after midnight, Salisbury police said. The victim was taken by ambulance to Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, where he is listed in stable condition, officials said. The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. near Cedar Street and Park Avenue. No arrests have been made.

In other reports from the Salisbury Police Department:

• It is reported that between 4:00 a.m. on September 3 and 3:05 p.m. on September 5, a truck belonging to Motts Powersports, Inc. was stolen on Butler Street.

• A theft is reported to have occurred at Vie Siding Solutions Co. on Player Court between 7 p.m. on Aug. 11 and 8 a.m. on Aug. 12. The total estimated loss was $347.

• A theft is reported to have occurred between 12:00 a.m. on August 25 and 12:00 a.m. on September 3 from a property on Mooresville Road. The total estimated loss was $30.

• A theft is believed to have occurred between 10 a.m. on Aug. 30 and 7:10 p.m. on Sept. 5 from a property on Wildwood Drive. The total estimated loss was $330.

• A theft from a motor vehicle reportedly occurred on North Fulton Street between 8 p.m. on September 4 and 7 a.m. on September 5. The total estimated loss was $300.

• Jamel Antoine Nance, 41, was arrested on September 5 and charged with possession of a narcotic drug.

• Taylor Ray Liles, 27, was arrested on Sept. 5 and charged with possession of a narcotic drug on the premises of a correctional facility.

• Demon Lamont Evans, 39, was arrested on September 5 and charged with possession of a narcotic drug on the premises of a correctional facility.

• Jermaine Chrishaun Brown, 40, was arrested on Sept. 5 and charged with possession of a narcotic drug on the premises of a correctional facility.

• Eric Scott Morrow, 33, was arrested on Sept. 5 and charged with possession of a narcotic drug on the premises of a correctional facility.

Rowan County Sheriff’s Office Reports

• A truck was reportedly stolen on Statesville Boulevard, Cleveland, between October 1, 2021 and 12:00 a.m. July 15, 2024. The theft was reported on September 4.

• A theft is said to have taken place at a property on Zion Church Road, Gold Hill, between 1:26am and 12:15am on September 4.

• A theft is said to have taken place at a property on Preston Ridge Lane, Rockwell, between 4pm on August 20 and 5pm on August 31. The theft was reported on September 4.

• Vandalism to a home on Woodleaf Road is reported to have occurred around 3:10 p.m. on September 4.

• Calvin Demetric Ellison, 55, was arrested on Sept. 4 and charged with theft.

• Gabriel Adan Estrada, 20, was arrested Sept. 4 and charged with second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He was being held on $100,000 bail.

• Gannon William Chambers, 38, was arrested on Sept. 4 and charged with second-degree trespassing.

• Jessica Chambers, 36, was arrested on Sept. 4 and charged with trespassing.
