Jason Whitlock: I’m voting for TRUMP because of THIS | 570 WSYR

BlazeTV host Jason Whitlock has never voted in a national election. He tells Glenn that he’s never believed that politics solves problems. But even though he still believes that, he’s decided to cast his first ever vote for Donald Trump this November. Jason joins Glenn to explain the 3 things that convinced him to go to the polls: the Democrats’ prosecution of the Jan. 6 suspects, Elon Musk’s courage in standing up to world powers, and Donald Trump’s courage in getting back up and staying in the fight after surviving an assassination attempt: “Men are taking real risks now, and if I said it’s not worth my time to register to vote and vote, I would be a coward, a hypocrite, and deserving of contempt.”

GLENN: Mr. Jason Whitlock, I have a lot to discuss with you today.

But let me start with the question: are you going to vote?

JASON: Yeah, I’m going to vote. I registered here in Tennessee. And I’m going to vote for Donald Trump.

GLENN: Okay. So this is — this is a big deal.

And we’ve been talking about this for years, and there’s been a really important election. Why haven’t you ever voted?

JASON: Because I’ve never believed that politics really solves problems. I’ve always felt like there are no political solutions to spiritual problems.

I still believe that, but I do believe that the stakes and the consequences of this election and a specific issue that is close to my heart are important. If anyone has been following me for a while, I didn’t wait for January 6, 2021 until the 7th, the 8th, the 9th or a year later.

I — I felt that those people were justified in their actions. I — my instincts said, they were set up.

There were agitators.

And that this was exaggerated. And this was called a rebellion.

And I… Ashley Babette was just murdered.

And the only way to provide for those people that they put in prison, the only way to provide for them is if Donald Trump gets re-elected and pardons them.

And so — it’s easier for me to see the consequences and/or benefits of this election. And — and, you know, I could go on and on about all the other things the left is doing. That bothered me.

But I sometimes wonder if Republicans are also involved in the other things the left is doing.

As it relates —

GLENN: Do you think so?

JASON: As far as freeing the people of January 6th from these dungeons. Trump can, should, and I hope he will. And I can’t sit on the sidelines. And say, I didn’t do anything. If I — you know, if I get the chance to do something.

GLENN: So, you know, what’s really weird. With the things that are happening now.

Jason, where, you know, we’ve talked about this before. And say, you know, it seems like this could happen. This could happen. These things happen. I mean, the way they’re going after Elon Musk all over the world right now, in a coordinated effort, is a little scary. Don’t you think?

JASON: It’s — it’s terrifying. But I look at it more as — it’s inspiring. Because that would be part two of, like, this guy has put all his chips in the middle of the table. He’s Elon Musk. He’s made himself a murder candidate, a career candidate for financial suicide. He’s — he’s been very brazen. And I can’t stand on the sidelines.

And look how this man is risking everything.

And the third part is the comment they made about Donald Trump. I mean, men are really taking risks right now.

And then I say: It’s not even worth registering to vote. And voting.

I would be a coward and a hypocrite.

And it deserves, you know, contempt.

GLENN: Wow. Good for you.

What do you think will happen with the prison sentence?

I think it’s the 16th. The judge in New York has to decide, you know, what his punishment is.

If they put him in jail, Jason, how do you think that’s going to turn out?

JASON: I think it’s going to inspire more of us. I think, you know, I’m going to pray for President Trump, but I just — I just think, it’s just — it’s pushing more and more chips to the center of the table. And making conflict more and more inevitable.

You know, I — it’s — I have so little faith in the integrity of the electoral process. We’ve clearly become a banana republic. And I — there’s a TV show called Narcos. It was popular on Netflix. And it was about, you know, drug cartels and their influence on politics and Colombia and other South American countries.

And I look at it now, or I remember it now, and I think, holy cow. We’re just like that.

The corrupt criminals are in fact Venezuelan gangs taking over neighborhoods and communities, but politicians do nothing about it.

And today, Glenn, I’m going to — on my show, I’m going to discuss The Great Replacement. And I’m going to use sports to — to unpack it, so that people can maybe hear it in a non-political way.

But this replacement thing that they have, too many black people don’t understand that, and I know it’s not just black people that don’t understand it.

We no longer have respect for American citizenship.

And we just think, hey, everybody and everybody should just be able to come here and do whatever they want.

And we are so caught up in it. We have lost sight of religion.

Shared values based on religious beliefs.

Shared values based on our geography.

Shared values based on our language.

That is our identity. Not this other one.

Who you have sex with.

How to have sex.

What skin color.

Those things are irrelevant. Your language. Your geology. And the values of your religion.

That’s what should connect us.

But we don’t care about that. This whole thing about colored people. Show me in the history of the world where people have achieved something great by winning great, healthy victories based on a shared skin color.

No. It’s shared values. It’s shared language. It’s shared geography. And we’re throwing it all away. Hey. Just let everybody in here. If they’re from Somalia. If they’re from a different religion. That’s fine. That’s great. And if there’s a different skin color. Diversity is our strength. Shared values were our strength. And we’ve got to get back to that, or we’re all throwing away our security.
