Gia Giudice Calls Out RHONJ Cast For Being Jealous Of Her

The Real Housewives of New Jersey has definitely had its share of troubles lately, with a huge rift between the housewives. And while it’s been confirmed that there will be a shakeup before a new season is even conceived, that’s not stopping the drama. This time around, Gia Giudice has some thoughts on the cast of RHONJ and how they’re coming out to her and her mother, Teresa.

Gia basically grew up before our eyes on RHONJ, which means that even though she’s in her early 20s, a lot of people still see her as a kid. So when she entered the fray during the mess that is/was Season 14, a few Housewives had something to say about it, including calling her a kid.

According to Reality Tea, Gia Giudice has decided to call out the other housewives on RHONJ on what she sees as a form of jealousy. She specifically opened up about the cast constantly referring to her as a child.

During an appearance on Teresa Giudice’s podcast, Gia opened up about the way the other Housewives talk about her and her involvement in the drama.

“I think[people]call me that because they still see me as the 8-year-old who was on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. That’s clearly not the case. I’m a graduate now, I’m two years out of college. I’m working. I’m very much an adult. But the people who say that about me, they’re just, they’re very insecure and jealous. And they’re jealous because they don’t have someone like me by their side.”

We can’t help but agree with Gia a little bit in terms of how she’s perceived, because so many of these people have watched her grow up. And it can be hard to see a child, especially one from your own family (in Gorgas’ terms), as an adult when you’ve been a part of their lives for a long time.

There is no denying that Gia is not a child. And the way people refer to her as a child is actually quite derogatory and rude. You may not want to involve her in the drama, but that doesn’t mean she is a “child” who shouldn’t interfere in the adult business.

Whether we agree with the jealousy angle or not, it’s absolutely clear that many of the RHONJ cast see Gia as a child, which is no longer the case. And it’s time for them to realize that she’s an adult and she’s allowed to have an opinion about what happens to her family.

What do you think of Gia Giudice’s reaction to being called a child? Do you agree with her and what she had to say?
