Inside Out 2

The sequel to the beloved animated film follows Riley as she enters puberty, experiencing brand new, more complex emotions. As she tries to adjust to her teenage years, her old emotions try to adjust to the possibility of being replaced. The film, directed by Kelsey Mann, hits theaters on June 14 and stars Maya Hawke, Amy Poehler, Liza Lapira, Tony Hale, Kensington Tallman, Lewis Black and Ayo Edebiri.

Bad Boys: Ride or Die

The film follows Miami cops Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett as they embark on a dangerous mission to clear their late police captain’s name of drug cartel ties. Starring Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Vanessa Hudgens, Eric Dane, Alexander Ludwig, Paola Nunez, Jacob Scipio, Tasha Smith and Ioan Gruffudd, the film hit theaters on June 7.

A Quiet Place: Day One

Directed by Michael Sarnoski, the film chronicles a moment when New York City is attacked by an alien invasion and follows the story of a woman and other survivors as they try to find a way to safety. They soon discover that they must remain absolutely silent, as the mysterious creatures are attracted to the slightest sound. The film was released on June 27 and stars Lupita Nyong’o, Alex Wolff, Joseph Quinn, Alexander John, Jennifer Woodward and Djimon Hounsou.

Despicable Me 4

Featuring an all-star cast including the voices of Steve Carell, Joey King, Kristen Wiig, Pierre Coffin, Sofia Vergara, Will Ferrell, Miranda Cosgrove, Dana Gaier, Chris Renaud, Steve Coogan and Madison Skyy Polan, the film was released on July 5. The film follows the arrival of a new member of the family, Gru Jr., who plans to torment his father. Gru must deal with a new enemy in Maxime Le Mal and his girlfriend Valentina, and the family is forced to go on the run.

The film, directed by Shawn Levy, was released on July 26. The film chronicles Deadpool’s peaceful existence when the Time Variance Authority recruits him to help protect the multiverse. He soon teams up with his future sidekick, Wolverine, to complete the mission and save his world from an existential threat. The film stars Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Blake Lively, Leslie Uggams, Jennifer Garner, Dafne Keen, Channing Tatum, and Emma Corrin.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice

Directed by Tim Burton, this fantasy horror follows the story of a family tragedy when three generations of the Deetz family return to their Winter River home. A teenage girl in the family accidentally opens the portal to the afterlife, causing chaos for the entire family. The film stars Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Jenna Ortega, Justin Theroux, William Dafoe, Monica Bellucci and Catherine O’Hara in key roles. The film hits theaters on September 5.
