Xbox Game Pass games: Every game on Game Pass Standard

$15 a month for games that most Xbox owners likely already own is pretty pricey, especially when you don’t see recent AAA titles and day-one releases.

After establishing Xbox Game Pass as the subscription service of choice for video games (and effectively forcing Sony to overhaul its PlayStation Plus offering), Microsoft is making the most of one of its few successes this generation by adding an interesting new offering: Game Pass Standard.

Since the introduction of Game Pass Standard, Game Pass has had four options to choose from, which can honestly be confusing.

What you need to know is that Game Pass Standard is a replacement for Xbox’s base Game Pass subscription for consoles (not Game Pass Core, which is different too). It does have some caveats, however, including the removal of about 40 games and the confusing decision to delete releases on day one. It’s a $5 step up from Game Pass Core at $14.99 a month with access to hundreds of games, so at least you’re getting over 100 games for your money.

But before we give you the list of Game Pass Standard games coming at launch, you’ll want to know what Microsoft has cut. With no Day One releases and most of the first-party exclusives that came out over the past year missing, around 40 fan-favorite titles are MIA, and they are:

So if you’re considering playing these games on Xbox, you’ll have to shell out for the more expensive Game Pass Ultimate, which should let you enjoy new and upcoming titles like Indiana Jones and the Great Circlewhich would look absolutely amazing on the PlayStation 5 Pro, and Grantedwhich will not be released anytime soon.
