“Why Not Wizkid or Drake?” Tems Responds to Pregnancy Rumors with Future

Nigerian artist Tems has responded to bizarre rumours circulating online about her pregnancy with American rapper Future.

In a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, Tems discussed her music, touring, and Afrobeats, and was asked about the wildest pregnancy rumors she’s come across. The singer addressed the widespread pregnancy rumors from earlier this year, which claimed she was expecting a child with Future, a rapper known for having eight children with different mothers.

Tems responded: “The wildest thing I’ve heard about myself is probably the pregnancy rumours. I don’t know where they come from; I have no idea. I was just doing my own thing because I was homeless, but it was all so crazy. I think it’s because people recognise me.”

The rumors of a pregnancy surprised Tems, who considered them one of the strangest things ever.

“Oh yeah, I feel like people latch onto the most controversial thing. I was like, why am I pregnant? And for Future? Why Future? Why him? That’s the craziest thing. Why not WizKid? Why not Drake? Why not someone else? It would be the same, but with Future it’s extreme,” Tems explained.

The presenter asked with a laugh, “Did you have to discuss the pregnancy rumors with family members? Did they call you and say, ‘I heard this?'”

Remember Nigerian prophetess Ahunna Scarlet Ejiogu who made headlines with an intriguing prophecy about Future and Tems. According to Ahunna, God revealed to her that Tems would be the one to “tame” Future and bring him to rest. This prophecy attracted attention and raised curiosity about the possible dynamics between the two.

Ahunna Scarlet Ejiogu is known for her prophetic statements. Two years ago, she warned about South African rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, better known as AKA. Ahunna warned AKA to avoid public gatherings or risk being attacked, a prediction that turned out to be true.

On May 2, 2021, Ahunna tweeted: “God says South African rap artiste, AKA should beware of a shot that will take his life. He should avoid mafia friendships and gatherings or he will become a target #SouthAfrica.”
