Dawn Richard Sues Diddy for Sexual Abuse

Dawn Richard, played by Danity Kane, is the latest accuser to make allegations against Diddy and has now sued him.

In the lawsuit obtained by Rolling StoneRichard alleges that Diddy “manipulated her with mantras that submission to his perverse demands was necessary for career advancement, and instilled in her the belief that such abuse and exploitation was necessary for female artists to succeed in the music industry.” The lawsuit alleges that Diddy groped Richard, locked her in a car for two hours and threatened to kill her. It also alleges that Richard witnessed Diddy being physically violent toward women.

The lawsuit was filed on September 10 in the Southern District of New York and Richard (who was part of the group Diddy-Dirty Money along with Diddy and Kalenna Harper) also sued former Bad Boy Entertainment CEO Harve Pierre.

Richard’s complaint bolsters Cassie’s claims in her own Diddy lawsuit, in which Richard says she witnessed Diddy pick on Cassie and strangle her. On one occasion, she saw him throw a hot pan of eggs at Cassie and drag her up a flight of stairs. She also says she tried to convince Cassie to leave Diddy, but that he was apparently enraged when he found out, saying he “makes n****s disappear” and “I kill people.”
